Kiddy Monsters continued their good form yesterday with a second consecutive divisional win, this time at Deeside. Running as 3rd seeds we swept all before us winning all five matches and setting a season best seed time of 19.58 seconds. Congratulations to all involved namely the dogs Tiegan, Solace, Harvey, Mac, Flyte and Jodie and the handlers Karen, Will, Glyn, Louise, Mel & Stuart. Once again we had Vicki as our Box Loader who put in another error free performance. We will miss you working your majic on the box when Casino is ready to run.
The flyball team are currently on an eleven match winning streak. Can we continue this good form at Doncaster in December!

20th November 2010
Congratulations to Heidi & Zee on winning grade 4 Jumping at the Wilmslow show. Heidi was clearly in-form as Vibe came 6th in the same class. Both great results in a strong class and an ideal start to the Winter indoor agility season.

1st November 2010
A faultless performance from the six dogs (Tiegan, Sol, Harvey, Vibe, Code & Jodie), six handlers  (Karen, Will, Glyn, Heidi, Joe & Stuart) and our Box Loader Vicki at Sheffield yesterday saw the Kiddy Monsters flyball team win division 3. In the Six matches we won 18 of the 20 races to end the day on Won 6 matches lost none. All the dogs ran very well and picked up BFA points. To make the performance even better it was 4 of the dogs first indoor show. It was well worth the 200 mile round trip and sets us up for Deeside later this month.

4th October 2010
Congratulations to the Kidderminster Large Agility team who won the Crufts Wilton qualifier yesterday to book a place at Crufts 2011 in the large Team finals. The four dogs and handlers in the team were Heidi & Zena, Nigel & Zico, Janet & Talia plus Pat & Diva. All four pairings ran very well in very difficult conditions as the rain lashed down and the running area was very muddy to record 4 perfect clears to claim 1st place and the ticket to Crufts 2011. All at the club wish them the very best of luck next March. The medium team came second to once again miss out on a place at Crufts, but again the team ran well it just has not been our year as we have now finished 2nd on three occasions.

25th September 2010
Congratulations to Becky & Seth who competed in their first flyball competition today. Seth ran very well and was a good last leg dog for the Monsters team. We used the show to not only blood some new dogs but to give our first year rookies some extended race time All worked well during the day and I'm sure Solace, Harvey, Vibe, & Code, will benefit from the races during the Winter and next Spring. Rob with Abby also had a first taster of competition racing and put in some good runs and is another dog for future Kiddy teams.
Results were mixed as Kiddy Minsters came 2nd, whilst Kiddy Monsters came 6th. The experienced dogs in the teams Flyte, Mac, Tiegan & Jodie provided the support to the younger dogs and both teams ran close to the declared seed times, not bad for two scratch teams! Vicki worked hard on Box Loading duties for both teams, once again not making one mistake. The team does benfit from finally after all these years having a top quality Box Loader.
We had three dogs achieve the BFA Flyball status in Vibe, Harvey and Code. Well done to all three dogs.

18th September 2010
Congratulations to Heidi & Vibe on winning grade 4 agility at Easington today to progress to grade 5. With some fine jumping wins already in the bag the agility win is the iceing on the cake.

12th September 2010
Congratulations to Heidi with Code and Liz with Kera on qualifying for the Crufts singles finals. Kidderminster almost made it three representatives as Stuart & Tiegan are reserves for the finals. Code goes to Crufts as the number one seed having accrued the most points during 2010. Good luck to all our dogs at Crufts next year.

4th September 2010
Congratulations to Heidi and Code on qualifying for Olympia today at Stoneleigh. We wish them the best of luck when they compete in the finals this December.

15th August 2010
One of the busiest weekends of the year for Kiddy Dog Club and its members. With both the British Flyball Championships and the Kennel Club International Agility Festival being held over the same three days. Great results for both the flyballers and the agility dogs at the two largest shows in the UK outside Crufts itself.
Kiddy Minors ran on Saturday with Tiegan, Mac, Flyte, Solace, Harvey & Jodie. The handlers were Karen, Louise, Mel, Will, Glyn, Stuart and Vicki on Box Loading duties. We worked hard in the summer rain and picked up a deserved Divisional Runners Up placing. Some close racing in all our matches made sure that we all were on top of our game.
The British Champs have 42 divisions with nearly 250 teams. It is run in 4 rings over 3 days and is huge compared to normal shows. This was a first champs show for Will, Glyn and Vicki. They all showed great nerve and performed to the highest standard and are now truly Flyballers.
Special well done to Solace who gained BFA Intermediate status at this show. We all want one of our flyball certificates to have British Championships on it and Sol has got his after 4 months competing. A special achievement to a special dog.
In the agility both Heidi & Code and Liz & Kera qualified for the British Cup Finals. Both ran well in a pressure cooker environment, with Liz and Kera coming 3rd overall.
Congrats to all our handlers and dogs who ran for Kidderminster over the Weekend.

4th July 2010
We continued our good form at Becketts Farm today. Running as Kiddy Minors with Solace, Jodie, Tiegan, Mac and Harvey we won 4 matches of the 5. Our second place was most welcome as we lowered our seed time to 20.28. Will and Solace have now got the start lights sorted and ran very well all day. Mac continues to improve, but throws in the odd curve ball, just to keep Louise on her toes!.
Jodie and Tiegan do what they always do with no mistakes. Vicki put in another faultless display on the box and Glyn and Harvey ran well to claim our final win of the day. Thanks to Carly who helped in the ring and our new lucky mascot Cassie the next generation of Kiddy Monsters. A well earned beer was taken on the way home.

27th June 2010
Much better racing today at Bakewell. A very scenic venue saw us using our new flyball box and all the dogs ran on it very well. Vicki had another faultless performance box loading, it really does help when the box works!. Whilst Will got to grips with the start lights and fine tuned Solaces start sequence. Solace is now running very well in both lanes and kept pace with the other start dogs. Three wins in the morning session were undone in the afternoon when due to the hot weather the show went to best of 3 format. We did not do as well in the short format and lost our two matches 2-1. Thanks to Andy from the Rotherham Rockets who ran Chelsea for us. Even helped us beat his own club in the morning, showing the true spirit of BFA flyballers.
First show apperance of a yet to be named Border Collie owned by Will and Vicki stole the show as everyone loves a puppy.

19th June 2010
A difficult days racing at the Dolphins show on the Wirral. Our flyball box decided to play up which resulted in a number of lost matches. Sadly when we borrowed a box from the hosts our dogs struggled to adapt to it and we only won one of our five matches. We did move up from 6th seed to finish 5th, whilst Solace ran well in his second show.

6th June 2010
Congratulations to Harvey and Code who ran in their first flyball competition at Princess Risborough today. Both ran well and gained a great deal of experience for future shows. It was also great to have Spot and Chelsea back running in the team. They both showed they still have what it takes in the flyball arena.

5th June 2010
Tiegan and Jodie qualified for the Superstars final at Wye Valley show in Monmouth. The final was run over a double agility course (endurance), then a double jumping course (sprint). Tiegan went on to win the final and now is a real Superstar!

23rd May 2010
Kiddy Minsters came a very creditable 3rd in division 4 at the Alpha Dogz show in Daventry. Congratulations to Heidi & Vibe who ran very well in their first competition and Vibe looks to be a very promising lead dog. Mac and Flyte were once again flying and along with Jodie and Tiegan posted a new seed time of 18.94 seconds. Thanks to Alison and Rob who came along to cheer us on and get the flyball bug.

15th May 2010
Great session at the Blue Cross open Day demo held by Kiddy Monsters at Bromsgrove today. For some of the dogs it was a first taste of running in two lanes in competition mode. We had a number of positive enquiries from visitors who gave flyball a try for the first time. Thanks to all members who took the time to come to the demo. Those involved were Louise, David, Will, Vicki, Glyn, Carly, Becky, James, Graham, Laura, Steph, Karen and Stuart.

29th April 2010
Solace handled by Will made a great start to their BFA Flyball life by gaining "Flyball Dog" status in their first show. Having travelled to Godmanchester to get some show experience in the warm ups, they found themselves running in every race. After a shaky start both Sol and Will got into the groove and to show the improvements they were making we posted our best time of the day in the penultimate race. Also congratulations to Vicki who took to the Box Loading duties from the very first run and did not make one mistake. Mac got a dead leg on the day and we wish him a speedy recovery, and look forward to hm racing again soon.

8th April 2010
Tiegan progresses from agility grade 6 to 7 with her win at the Easter Bretford show on 3rd April. She went on to win four classes (2 Agility and 2 jumping) over the Weekend. Jodie also had a good Weekend with three wins and two second places. Code and Vibe also had wins and places at the Shrewsbury show over Easter.

18th March 2010
The Kidderminster Medium Agility team feature in the Dog WorldCrufts supplement along with our sponsors Fish4Dogs.

12th March 2010
Kidderminster Medium Agility team sponsored by Fish4Dogs where today crowned Crufts Champions 2010 after a thrilling final involving teams from Prestwick, Stoke and South Cotswold. The team of Code, Wisper, Pip and Jodie ran well in both the semi final this morning and the final this afternoon. Drawn to run first we thought we had not done enough. However as we watched nervously in the holding area each of the three other teams made mistakes. Congratulations to Heidi, Nik, Richard and Stuart the winning handlers.

11th March 2010
Kidderminster flyball team sponsored by Kingspan lost 2-1 to Warrington Wizzards in the Crufts Flyball Championship Quarter Final. Having drawn one of the best teams in the UK it was always going to be an uphill task for Jodie, Mac, Tiegan and Jack. But to claim one leg win was a big bonus. Congratulations to Mac and Jack plus handlers Louise and Katy who ran on the green carpet at Crufts for the first time. The Wizzards went on to be runers up in the Grand Final, so it makes our performance even better.

28th February 2010
Kiddy Minsters come 2nd in Division 2 at the BFA show in Deeside. The team included Jodie, Mac, Tiegan and Jack posted a best time of 19.09. Next stop Crufts.
