25th November 2012
Congratulations to both the Flyballers and the Agility handlers who collected major titles today. Firstly the agility team received the Agility Voice National Division 3 shield. This was their second sucessive title winning season and they can now look forward to division 2 in 2013. Then the Kiddy Minsters and Monsters travelled to Merseyside to race in the Live Wires BFA show at Ellesmere Port. For the first time in our short history we had two teams racing in division 1. Kiddy Monsters with Solace, Jodie, Abby, Ice, Maud and Marmite ran well in the morning gaining two victories. Kiddy Minsters with Tiegan, Casino, Mac, Vibe, Flyte & Maddison looked even better as they too won their first two matches.

The last race in the morning session matched up the two Kiddy teams, with the Monsters running at a consistent pace the much faster Minster team showed no respect to their training buddies and despatched them with a swift 3-0 result. In the afternoon the Monsters team struggled to maintain the early morning results and finished 4th. However the Minsters beat all before them to win our first division 1 title for over three years. Congratulations to all who raced and Vicki who ran the line and operated as Logistics Manager, also to Kate who helped in the ring.

During racing Casino gained her BFA Graduate award, Marmite had her best races in a show and little Maddison won her races in her first show. In the after match presentations Jodie collected her FA Platinum award for gaining 25,000 points. The first Kidderminster dog to achieve this milestone award. All in all a great day for Kidderminster Dog Club.

27th October 2012
Kiddy Monsters headed to Yorkshire today for our Flyball "fix". The hardy souls involved were Louse & Mac, Vicki & Casino, Will & Solace, Karen & Tiegan and Stuart & Jodie. The racing was on grass under a marque 250 feet long. Starting as 6th seeds, we struggled in our first match against the top seeds and lost after some close racing. We then mastered the conditions and went on to win our other four matches to win the division. Congratulations to all involved, special mention for Jodie who passed 25,000 points to gain her BFA Platinum award. She is the first Kiddy dog to achieve this awards. Also this win was Casino's first divisional win, the first of many we all hope.

15th September 2012
Exciting racing at Bakewell saw the Kiddy Minsters earn a creditable 3rd place in division 2 against some very strong teams. Congrats to Karen & Tiegan who collected the BFA Ice Blue Moon Award and Rob & Abby who achieved Graduate status. Even found another nice pub near Matlock, to add to our list for the future.

1st September 2012
Congratulations to Heidi & Code on qualifying for the Olympia Christmas show once again. Also Kidderminster Royals qualified for 2013 in the flyball at Prestbury Park on Saturday evening. The team included; Tiegan, Mac, Casino, Flyte, Vibe & Zee ran well all evening and can now look forward to a day at the biggest dog show in the world next march. Conratulations to all who ran and thanks to those who came along to help and support us.

19th August 2012
Kiddy Monsters ran in division 21 at the British Flyball Championships and found the competition a bit too hot, only winning one match. whilst Kiddy Minsters ran closer to form winning three of the five matches but no shields to take home this year. Congratulations to the dogs who ran over the weekend; Solace, Casino, Ice, Jodie, Zee, Maud, Tiegan, Mac, Flyte, Vibe and Abby. Also many thanks to those who came along to help and support us when not running including Laura, Glyn, Mel, Louise, David and Joe. Maybe next year :-).

15th August 2012
A very good day at the Pembrokeshire show today for Kiddy members. Joe and Ice won grade 3 Agility to progress to grade 4, Tiegan picked up three grade 7 wins, Code had one grade 7 win and Jodie had a second place.

5th August 2012
After a 2 month break from flyball due to holidays and the weather Kiddy Minsters finally got back to racing today in Nantwich at the Chilli Peppers Summer show. We took 5 dogs and handlers which meant the handler not racing was on box loading duty and we all passed that test with flying colours. On arrival we learnt we had been moved up to division 2 so were expecting to struggle. However we all raced well and picked up two wins to finish a very creditable 4th. The team consisted of Abby, Flyte, Jodie, Mac and Tiegan. During the racing two dogs achieved BFA milestone awards, Flyte winning her Silver award for 10,000 race points and Tiegan Ice Blue Moon for gaining 20,000 points. Special mention to Jodie who top scored on the day, not bad for a nine year old!

Next action is at the British Championships later this month.

2nd July 2012
Q our next generation Kiddy Monster today checked out an Olympic torch.

3rd June 2012
Kiddy Monsters ran well in driving rain today at Rye Croft, Cheshire to come 2nd in a strong BFA division 4. All the dogs (Solace, Casino, Mac, Maud, Tiegan & Jodie) ran very well in the conditions with special mentions for our secret weapon Maud, plus Solace who did not put a paw wrong and Casino who ran down the 4th dog on a number of races to clinch wins for Kiddy.
The team enjoyed a gazeebo Jubilee party as the rain fell long and hard. Maybe it was the Pimms that resulted in our perfect afternoon performance as we won all three matches including a victory over the divisional winners. Only sad note was the loss of a ball bucket which had been to every show including Belgium since 2009. Sadly it was no match for a Chelsea Taxi. Its gone but not forgotten!

27th May 2012
Congratulations to the Kidderminster Agility team who qualified for Crufts 2013 at Nottingham today.

The team returning to defend the title will be Liz & Kera, Steve & Willow, Stuart & Tiegan, and Karen & Pheobe.

Kiddy Minsters travelled south to Frome Somerset to compete in division 4 at the Scruppy's flyball show. Running on a declared time we struggled in the early matches breaking out twice. However we got into the groove and won four of our 5 matches to finish 2nd in the division with the fastest time in the division. Congrats to Jodie, Solace, Tiegan, Casino, Chilli & Tizzy who all ran well throughout the days racing. During the first match Tizzy gained BFA Flyball Dog grade.

13th May 2012
Kiddy Monsters returned to Oxford today and came away unbeaten and another division win. Our secret weapon was Maud who did not put a paw wrong in her first show this year. The other dogs involved were Jodie, Tiegan, Mac, Flyte and Abby, who all enjoyed the sunshine and good running conditions to post the best time in the division. well done to all involved.

22nd April 2012
Kiddy sent two teams to Oxfordshire today to compete in the Mad Mutts Flyball show. Kiddy Minsters performed well in division 2 with Tiegan, Casino, Abby, Flyte and Chilli finishing 2nd overall and lowering their seed time to 18.59. In division 5 the Kiddy Monsters struggled all day and finished 5th. During the racing Casino gained her BFA Intermediate award and Chilli in her first competition the Flyball Dog award. Also congrats to J and Tizzy who ran well in their first show and Marmite who scored her first flyball points. Well done to all who raced.

Kiddy were in Cambridgeshire today to compete in our first outdoor flyball competition of the year. Kiddy Monsters running in division 2 started slowly but ran far better in the afternoon to record two match wins and finish the day 4th. Congratulations to Joe with Ice who passed 1000 points thus gaining their Intermediate BFA award.

9th March 2012
The Kidderminster medium agility team were today crowned Team Champions for the second time in three years. The team consisting of Liz & Kera (Working Cocker), Heidi & Code (Corgi x Terrier), Karen & Phoebe (Cross) and Stuart & Tiegan (Border Collie) ran well in both the semi final and the final. In a semi final consisting of the best nine teams in the country Kidderminster ran last with Kera, Code and Phoebe going clear. Tiegan picked up 105 faults to put us 4th thus booking our slot in the final.
In the final we ran first with both Kera and Code once again going clear. Phoebe and Tiegan picked up 5 faults each however our time of 138.57 seconds was going to be tough to beat. this proved the case as each of the three teams made mistakes to leave Kidderminster once again Champions. Congratulations to the team and thanks to everyone who came along to cheer us on.

Kiddy Monsters found live even harder in division 3 winning three of the five matches. The win/loss record matched 3rd and 4th place however Monsters were placed 5th on race times. Marmite and Laura made their debut and learned a lot from the race day environment. The other dogs involved were Ice, Cody, Solace and Jodie.
